I've been reading since I could pick up a book! Growing up I mostly read fantasy. During my college years I didn't have much time to read anymore. But since I graduated and moved back home to the Netherlands I picked up my old hobby again.
Last year I found the world or Advacend Reader Copies. This is where you receive a copy of the book before it's released and in return you write a review on the book websites and post about it on social media. I love creating reels and coming up with creative posts!
At that moment I didn't have a Bookstagram as the book community likes to call it. So I started a new account called @TalkBooksWithMeli
Sofar it's been very succesful and within 1 year I've surpassed the 5000 followers. I always receive great comment from authors and publishers about my posts. I mostly use Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Canva to create my posts! I get to work together with lots of amazing authors, publishers and bookshops!
